Death Valley, Again

Photos from a recent trip to Death Valley National Park

I'm getting these photos up a few weeks late, but better late then never.

Beatty, Nevada- Famous for its free air and water.

A first for me, the ghost town Rhyolite, although it's technically outside Death Valley.

How cool is this old collapsed bank in Rhyolite?

Another first for me, Titus Canyon. Definitely worthwhile.

Kyle tempting fate, as usual.

Joel in the car in Titus Canyon.

Golden Canyon looking exceptionally gold.

Me- finally a photo of me I didn't take on this blog. Thanks Joel!

Joel in Ubehebe Crater. You haven't lived until you've run down into this 1000ft deep mother.

Devils Racetrack. It's unknown exactly how these rocks make their trails. Rain-slicked mud? Icy playa? Aliens?? Who knows!

It's a photo finish!

Photo credit goes to Kyle on this one. Can you spot me in it? Hint: lower right

Trans-America Road Trip

The following photos are from last week's road trip from LA to ATL on which i accompanied a friend driving back to school.

We got snowed in in Williams, AZ

The Grand Canyon with snow is quite nice.
